The two halves stand in the natural opposition the sentence sets up. "Revealed, discover" leaves the branch discovering its own discrepancies, which makes nonsense of "managed to". "Created" and "prevented" both misdescribe what an audit does.
Numerical Ability Simplification and Approximation
What is the value of 12.5% of 800 + 37.5% of 240?

12.5% is 1/8, so 12.5% of 800 = 800 ÷ 8 = 100. 37.5% is 3/8, so 37.5% of 240 = 240 ÷ 8 × 3 = 30 × 3 = 90. Adding: 100 + 90 = 190. Converting awkward percentages to fractions (12.5% = 1/8, 16 2/3% = 1/6, 6.25% = 1/16) is the single biggest time-saver in this section.

In the question below, the statements are followed by two conclusions. Take the statements to be true even if they seem to disagree with commonly known facts, and decide which conclusion logically follows. Statements: Only a few servers are routers. All routers are switches. Conclusions: I. Some servers are switches. II. All servers are switches.

"Only a few servers are routers" means some servers are routers and some are not — it is a stronger form of "some", carrying the extra information that the overlap is partial. Those servers which are routers are switches, since all routers are switches. So some servers are switches, and conclusion I follows. Conclusion II cannot follow. "Only a few" guarantees that some servers are *not* routers, and nothing places those servers inside the switch circle. The phrase to watch is "only a few", which appears constantly in modern banking papers and always implies a definite negative alongside the positive.
