Job Details
The recruitment covers three categories of Para Workers: Para Pump Operator (8 posts), Para Fitter (3 posts), and Multipurpose Worker (19 posts). Selected candidates will work 6 hours a day and will be deputed to schemes already outsourced to firms or contractors; requests for transfer from the assigned scheme will not be entertained later.
Selection is merit-based, scored out of 10 marks covering academic performance, BPL status, and relevant field experience, followed by a skill and/or physical test for shortlisted candidates (roughly three times the number of vacancies). No TA/DA is payable for appearing in the skill or physical test.
Applications, typed or handwritten in English or Hindi, must be submitted along with self-attested supporting documents to the Office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division, Fatehpur, Distt. Kangra, H.P. 176053, on or before 31 July 2026, 5:00 PM. Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.

Experience
Experience in operation/maintenance of pumping machinery and electrical installations (Para Pump Operator) or in-village water supply infrastructure and distribution systems (Para Fitter) with IPH(JSV), HPPWD, CPWD, PSUs, or an authorised outsourcing agency serving HP Jal Shakti Vibhag. A certificate from the Executive Engineer (JSV) is mandatory; awards half a merit mark per six months of experience, up to 2 marks.
