Job Details
The vacancies span Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor grades across Anaesthesiology, Biochemistry, Orthopaedics, Physiology, Surgical Oncology, and Trauma & Emergency departments. Posts for Professor and Associate Professor are also open to Deputation; retired faculty may apply on a contractual basis for Professor/Associate Professor roles.

Eligibility
- Anaesthesiology (Asst. Professor): MD (Anaesthesia) + 3 years teaching/research experience.
- Biochemistry (Asst. Professor): MD in Biochemistry (medical) or Master's + Doctorate in Biochemistry (non-medical) + 3 years teaching/research experience.
- Orthopaedics (Asst. Professor): MS in Orthopaedics + 3 years teaching/research experience.
- Physiology (Asst. Professor): MD in Physiology (medical) or Master's + Doctorate in Physiology (non-medical) + 3 years teaching/research experience; Professor grade requires 14 years teaching/research experience post-qualification.
- Surgical Oncology (Associate Professor): M.Ch in Surgical Oncology (2/3/5/6-year course) + 3-4 years teaching/research experience depending on course duration.
- Trauma & Emergency (Asst. Professor): MD in Emergency Medicine/Medicine or MS in General Surgery + 3 years teaching/research experience; candidates with casualty/emergency department experience preferred.
DNB holders in broad/super specialties must produce documentary evidence of equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch per MCI's 31-10-2018 notification, with additional experience requirements depending on training institution category.

Age cap varies by post: 58 years (Professor, direct recruitment), 56 years (Professor, deputation), 50 years (Associate & Assistant Professor), up to 70 years (retired/contractual). Professor: Pay Matrix 14A (Rs.1,68,900-2,20,400). Associate Professor: Pay Matrix 13A1 (Rs.1,38,300-2,09,200). Assistant Professor: Pay Matrix 12 (Rs.1,01,500-1,67,400). All as per 7th CPC plus usual allowances; NPA additionally payable for candidates holding a medical qualification.
